Job Summary

Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Maryland Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions while working remotely from Maryland.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic and professional telephonic support to clients experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges
• Assess and document clients' emotional health concerns and safety issues while providing appropriate resources and coping strategies
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and manage multiple software systems effectively during calls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
• Maryland residency is required for remote work
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as part of the regular schedule
• Strong emotional resilience and multitasking skills in a high-stress environment
