Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Maryland Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions while working remotely from Maryland.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver empathetic and professional telephonic support to clients experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges
- Assess and document clients' emotional health concerns and safety issues while providing appropriate resources and coping strategies
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and manage multiple software systems effectively during calls
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Maryland residency is required for remote work
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as part of the regular schedule
- Strong emotional resilience and multitasking skills in a high-stress environment
