Job Summary

Providing telephonic support to individuals in distress, the full-time Maryland Licensed Crisis Counselor will deliver compassionate emotional support, conduct risk assessments, and offer crisis intervention services while working remotely from Maryland.

Key responsibilities

• Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to callers experiencing emotional or behavioral distress
• Assess emotional health concerns, including risk levels, and intervene in emergent situations
• Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems while multitasking effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
• Maryland residency required for remote work
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in a distraction-free home office environment
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts post-training
