Job Summary
Providing telephonic support to individuals in distress, the full-time Maryland Licensed Crisis Counselor will deliver compassionate emotional support, conduct risk assessments, and offer crisis intervention services while working remotely from Maryland.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to callers experiencing emotional or behavioral distress
- Assess emotional health concerns, including risk levels, and intervene in emergent situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems while multitasking effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Maryland residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in a distraction-free home office environment
- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts post-training
