Job Summary

Providing essential support to members, providers, and brokers, the full-time Maryland Licensed Customer Service Advocate will address inquiries related to product information, benefits, claims resolution, and eligibility in a remote call center environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Resolve member, provider, and broker inquiries by gathering information and examining claim submissions for accuracy
  • Educate customers on product knowledge and contractual provisions while documenting all interactions according to departmental procedures
  • Maintain customer records and participate in ongoing education related to new services and industry topics
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than one year of customer service experience
  • Familiarity with medical or insurance terminology is preferred
  • Successful completion of provided training
  • Demonstrated PC navigation and data entry skills
