Job Summary
Providing essential support to members, providers, and brokers, the full-time Maryland Licensed Customer Service Advocate will handle inquiries related to product information, claims resolution, and eligibility in a remote call center environment.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve inquiries by gathering and researching information while examining claim submissions for accuracy
- Educate customers on products and contractual provisions, ensuring understanding of benefits and limitations
- Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions according to departmental procedures
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Less than one year of customer service experience
- Familiarity with medical or insurance terminology is preferred
- Ability to complete training successfully
- Demonstrated PC navigation and data entry skills
