Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data infrastructure for a public health organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure Synapse Analytics solutions and data pipelines
• Ingest, integrate, and transform data from various public health sources for analytics readiness
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards while optimizing performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure services
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with data transformation and ETL/ELT pipeline development
