Maryland Licensed DBQ Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DBQ Reviewer I to support the accuracy of medical documentation and examination processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine complex medical exam reports for completeness and adherence to VA guidelines
• Identify and document quality issues, escalating to management as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver feedback and assist with revising medical exam reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year in the medical field as a Scribe, Military Corpsman/Medic, or Certified Medical Assistant, biller/coder; OR 1 year of relevant experience as a Quality Analyst in a healthcare setting; OR at least 6 months conducting QA reviews of DBQs
• Deep knowledge of medical terminology and quality assurance methodologies
• Proficient with computers, including knowledge of Microsoft tools
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
