Maryland Licensed Digital Forensics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Digital Forensics Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations for cybersecurity incident response efforts and perform forensic examinations on compromised systems
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support and contribute to technical briefings on forensic examinations
• Monitor networks for threats, analyze network traffic, and develop custom detection signatures

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or digital forensics
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring and SIEM tools, preferably Splunk
• Knowledge of cyber forensics, incident handling processes, and forensic examination tools
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
