Maryland Licensed Effectiveness Coach

Job Summary

As a part-time Maryland Licensed Effectiveness Coach, the successful candidate will develop and implement coaching strategies to enhance teacher performance in Baltimore City, focusing on curriculum and instruction-centered professional development while working directly with teachers across multiple schools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a data-driven coaching strategy to improve teacher retention and performance
• Provide responsive coaching and training to a caseload of teachers, ensuring rapid improvement and inclusivity
• Facilitate professional development sessions and build trusting partnerships with teachers

Required qualifications

• At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in a high-need school
• Strong familiarity with Common Core State Standards and/or state standards
• Proven ability to analyze teacher performance data and implement effective improvement strategies
• Exceptional facilitation skills for leading professional development
• Commitment to continuous learning and cultural agility, with the ability to build relationships in diverse communities
