Maryland Licensed Financial Clearance Manager

Job Summary

Providing strategic direction for financial clearance functions, the full-time Maryland Licensed Financial Clearance Manager will collaborate with staff and leadership to enhance patient-centered care and drive process improvement in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement goals and objectives for financial clearance operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in practices and enhance the patient experience
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide complex analysis and coaching on business issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance, Information Management, or a related field
• Minimum of seven years of progressive financial experience, including hospital receivables management and clinical setting experience
• At least four years of direct management experience in a significant facility
• Proven leadership in hospital management and familiarity with patient accounting applications
• Knowledge of third-party payer requirements and experience with Patient Access or Financial Clearance standards
