Job Summary

To support billing operations, the part-time Maryland Licensed Financial Coder will coordinate daily revenue cycle activities, verify patient financial liability, and resolve billing issues while working remotely with quarterly onsite meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinates and monitors daily revenue cycle activities to optimize reimbursement opportunities
• Verifies benefit coverage to determine patient financial liability and resolves patient billing issues
• Performs coding functions, including charge entry and documentation for claims processing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in financial coding
• CCS-P or CPC certification required
