Job Summary

To optimize revenue enhancement, the part-time Maryland Licensed Financial Coder will coordinate daily billing activities, verify patient financial liabilities, and resolve billing issues while working remotely with quarterly onsite meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and monitors daily revenue cycle activities to optimize reimbursement opportunities
• Verifies benefit coverage to determine patient financial liability and resolves billing issues collaboratively
• Performs charge entry functions and ensures accuracy of code linkage diagnosis to procedure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in financial coding
• CCS-P or CPC certification required
