Job Summary

To support a growing portfolio of clients, the part-time Maryland Licensed Fractional Controller will manage the monthly close process, produce actionable financial statements, and ensure compliance with internal controls while working remotely on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and audit-readiness
• Produce financial statements and management reports to support client decision-making
• Monitor internal controls and support compliance for GovCon and nonprofit clients

Required qualifications

• 5 to 12 years of accounting or finance experience with ownership of financial close processes
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Exposure to government contracting compliance or nonprofit accounting is a strong plus
• Ability to work across multiple client environments simultaneously
• Curiosity about technology and willingness to learn new platforms
