Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time or part-time Maryland Licensed IOP Addiction Counselor will develop treatment alliances, facilitate addiction treatment groups, and engage in case management while working remotely during evening hours from 3 PM to 9 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Develops collaborative treatment alliances with patients and facilitates addiction treatment groups
- Engages in case management, including assessments, treatment goals, and discharge planning
- Maintains timely documentation that meets state and CARF standards while providing direct care up to 55% of weekly work hours
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the substance use disorder (SUD) field, with group treatment experience preferred
- Maryland licensure as ADT, CSC-AD, or CAC-AD
- Experience with electronic medical records and knowledge of various recovery modalities
- Ability to work fully remote and engage positively with patients
- If in recovery from a substance use disorder, a minimum of three years of continuous sobriety is required
