Maryland Licensed Liability Trial Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Liability Trial Attorney to represent commercial insureds in moderate to high complexity General Liability and Commercial Auto personal injury cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and try moderate to high complexity General Liability and Commercial Auto personal injury cases
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal pleadings, and manage pre-trial discovery
• Handle hearings and trials, and perform post-trial activities as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and 5 or more years of experience in Insurance Litigation
• Active member in good standing with the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar Associations
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Familiarity with Lexis or Westlaw
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation legal environment
