Job Summary
To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Licensed Medicaid Compliance Consultant will manage compliance activities, develop reports, conduct investigations, and collaborate with stakeholders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compliance reports by evaluating data, summarizing audit information, and reporting key performance indicators to management
- Conduct compliance investigations by analyzing data, interviewing stakeholders, and creating corrective action plans for identified issues
- Coordinate the implementation of compliance efforts by assessing current compliance states, identifying gaps, and revising policies and procedures as necessary
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, finance, or related fields
- Experience in health plan compliance and operations preferred
- Proficiency in project management and cross-department coordination
- Master's degree or compliance certification (e.g., CHC) is a plus
