Maryland Licensed Medicaid Compliance Consultant

Job Summary

To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Licensed Medicaid Compliance Consultant will collaborate with regional staff to advise on Medicaid requirements, develop compliance procedures, monitor performance metrics, and conduct training and risk assessments in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop compliance reports and conduct investigations to ensure adherence to Medicaid regulations
• Coordinate the implementation of compliance efforts and assess current compliance states to identify gaps
• Support management of projects related to compliance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business priorities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field
• Minimum six years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, finance, or a related field
• Experience in health plan compliance and operations preferred
• Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent is a plus
