Maryland Licensed Medicaid Consultant

Job Summary

To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Licensed Medicaid Consultant will maintain compliance standards, develop procedures, conduct risk assessments, and provide training to staff while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compliance reports and conduct compliance investigations to ensure adherence to Medicaid regulations
• Coordinate implementation of compliance efforts and monitor ongoing compliance adherence across the organization
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field
• Minimum six (6) years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, or a related field
• Experience in health plan compliance and operations preferred
• Ability to manage projects and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and ability to monitor regulatory changes
