Job Summary
To support maternal care patients, the part-time contracted Maryland Licensed Mental Health Clinician will provide telemedicine-based treatment for perinatal mood disorders, engaging in both individual and potential group therapy sessions while utilizing technology to enhance patient education and outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1 patient encounters and provide live and asynchronous support for pregnant and postpartum patients
- Utilize evidence-based techniques to ensure safe and effective care in the perinatal space
- Develop systems and processes to improve patient engagement and education
Required qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with active Maryland licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in active patient care, preferably in telemedicine
- Availability for intermittent phone and video meetings
- Fluency in English; additional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
- Active registration in Maryland ePrep is a plus
