Job Summary
To provide essential clinical care in a remote setting, the part-time Maryland Licensed Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will manage comprehensive mental health medication management, conduct psychiatric evaluations, and construct patient-centered treatment plans while working as a 1099 contractor.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via 60-minute intake and regular follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
- Construct patient-centered treatment plans and prescribe/manage psychiatric medications
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program or accredited PA program with certification through PANCE
- Unrestricted state license in Maryland
- A minimum of 2 years in practice
- Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs with an active DEA license
- Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience with minors
