Maryland Licensed Oncology Registrar
Job Summary
Supporting the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, the PRN Maryland Licensed Oncology Registrar will independently perform cancer casefinding, abstracting, and quality assurance activities in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Identify reportable cancer cases through casefinding activities
- Perform accurate cancer abstracting in compliance with national and state reporting standards
- Conduct follow-up and quality assurance reviews to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Required qualifications
- Current Oncology Data Specialist-Certified (ODS-C) credential required
- Associate degree or other health information management credentials preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum five years of cancer registry abstracting experience preferred
- Experience with Oncolog, Epic, Aria, and Microsoft Office applications preferred
