Job Summary
To provide comprehensive medication management services for payors in a completely remote environment, a Maryland Licensed Pediatric Pharmacist will conduct medication reviews, offer remote consultations, and educate pediatric patients and caregivers on proper medication use.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medication reviews for pediatric patients and collaborate with healthcare providers to develop management plans
- Provide remote consultations to caregivers addressing medication-related concerns and offer recommendations for adjustments
- Educate patients and caregivers on medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies while participating in interdisciplinary care teams
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program with an active pharmacy license
- Board certification in Pediatric Pharmacy (BCPPS) preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of pediatric pharmacy experience with strong clinical knowledge
- Proficient in telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and online collaboration tools
- Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively in a remote setting
