Maryland Licensed Pediatric RN

Job Summary

To provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in their homes, the full-time Maryland Licensed Pediatric RN will manage skilled evaluations, treatment plans, and care coordination, working primarily during day shifts with a rotating weekend requirement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide skilled evaluation, treatment, and care for pediatric patients in accordance with nursing standards
• Develop and implement individualized care plans under physician orders while coordinating with patients and caregivers
• Maintain and manage central venous access devices and administer high-tech infusions as needed

Required qualifications

• Current Maryland RN license with pediatric nursing experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in an acute care pediatric unit or department, preferably in critical care or emergency department
• Experience with administering biologics, immunotherapy, or chemotherapy
• Ability to place peripheral intravenous catheters in pediatric patients
• Familiarity with new technologies and computer programs related to patient care
