Job Summary
To support pet families across Baltimore, the part-time Maryland Licensed Pet Hospice Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services, focusing on compassionate care without the constraints of a non-compete agreement.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets, ensuring a dignified and respectful experience for families
- Manage a self-scheduled workload while working independently in a mobile environment
- Communicate professionally with pet families and team members, fostering a supportive atmosphere
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations
- Weekend availability on a rotational basis
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Demonstrated compassion and respect in all interactions with pets and families
