Job Summary

To support the Department of Health and Human Services, a Maryland Licensed Physician will serve as a Contract Medical Reviewer in a temporary full-time remote position, responsible for writing medical eligibility determination recommendations and enhancing report quality.

Key responsibilities

• Write medical eligibility determination recommendations in alignment with training and instructions provided by the government
• Deliver a minimum of 10 edited and finalized medical reports while applying feedback for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with the Chenega HRSA team and contribute to the enhancement of medical report writing

Required qualifications

• Medical degree with board certification or board eligibility in primary care or specialty disciplines
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician from a U.S. state or territory
• Recent clinical experience of more than 5 years
• Strong technical writing skills
• Experience working with management to prioritize business needs
