Maryland Licensed PPS Coordinator
Job Summary
A company is looking for a PPS Coordinator/Documentation Specialist for a part-time day shift in inpatient rehab.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patient charts for correct coding and communicate with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans
- Collect, enter, and analyze clinical data to ensure compliance with Medicare Prospective Payment System requirements
- Audit charts and monitor clinical documentation to ensure compliance with federal/state guidelines and quality improvement processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a case manager in inpatient rehabilitation preferred
- Licensure in their discipline required
