Job Summary

Handling property claims telephonically, the full-time Maryland Licensed Property Adjuster will conduct investigations, evaluate coverage, and document claims while working from the nearest branch office within the Erie footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Contact policyholders to investigate property claims, conduct interviews, and prepare estimates
• Evaluate claims to determine coverage and total value, setting reserves and issuing payments as necessary
• Document claim files and submit final reports for closure, while identifying subrogation opportunities

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous claims experience is preferred
• Must obtain the appropriate state adjuster's license
• Willingness to pursue and complete Technical Learning Center Training is required
• Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred
