Job Summary
Handling property claims telephonically, the full-time Maryland Licensed Property Adjuster will conduct investigations, evaluate coverage, and document claims while working from the Hagerstown branch office or remotely as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Contacts policyholders to investigate property claims, conducts interviews, and inspects damages
- Evaluates claims, sets reserves, and determines payments or declines as necessary
- Documents claim files and submits final reports for closure
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous claims experience preferred
- Must obtain the required State's Adjuster's License
- Willingness to pursue and complete Technical Learning Center Training required
- Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred
