Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time Maryland Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive psychiatric intake evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults, ensuring a seamless transition into ongoing treatment while working remotely for a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive intake evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure appropriate ongoing care for each patient
- Educate and empower families about diagnoses and treatment options during the intake process
Required qualifications
- Active PMHNP license in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey
- Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
- At least 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults
- Board Certification by ANCC or AANP (PMHNP-BC)
- DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority License
