Job Summary
To enhance revenue integrity practices, the full-time Maryland Licensed Revenue Integrity Specialist will support charge capture and compliance processes, oversee charge monitoring activities, and promote collaboration between clinical and operational teams in a remote work setting.
Key responsibilities
- Support consistent and accurate charge capture and reconciliation practices to optimize revenue and identify improvement opportunities
- Provide expertise in the build and maintenance of charge masters and fee schedules, collaborating with coding and compliance teams
- Oversee charge monitoring activities to identify and correct missed or incorrect charges, improving overall charging practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field
- 2 years of experience with healthcare billing systems
- Certification in Coding: CPC, CCS, or COC
- Health care-related licensure or other AHIMA or AAPC recognized coding certification
- Relevant education or professional-level work experience may substitute for degree or experience requirements
