Maryland Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the full-time Maryland Licensed Senior Accountant will supervise and execute engagements focused on cloud-based accounting systems, collaborating with clients and team members in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly close processes, including reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting
• Implement and train staff on cloud-based accounting tools such as Bill.com and QuickBooks Online
• Coordinate engagement phases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of working papers while maintaining strong client relationships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or private industry, preferably with nonprofit organizations
• Current CPA license or in active preparation to sit for the CPA exam
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Sage Intacct
• Experience with cloud-based applications such as Bill.com and Tallie
