Maryland Licensed Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support an initiative for the State of Maryland.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, testable, and scalable web applications
• Collaborate with designers to deliver functional and efficient user interfaces
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Rspec, ERB templates, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• At least 6 years of hands-on professional work experience building web applications and creating APIs
• Familiarity with static HTML generators and content management systems (CMS)
• Working-level knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS S3, SQS, and GitHub
• Understanding of web and mobile user interface design best practices
