Maryland Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the month-end close process, the full-time Maryland Licensed Staff Accountant will manage general ledger accounts, assist in financial reporting, and ensure compliance with US GAAP in a hybrid work environment, with three days in-office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Support the month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
• 1-3 years of public and/or corporate accounting experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP and relevant financial regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications
• CPA certification is a bonus
