Job Summary
Providing overnight telepsychiatry services, the full-time Maryland Licensed Telepsychiatry PMHNP will conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations, coordinate care for emergency department patients, and manage inpatient behavioral health unit requests in a fully remote setting on a 7-on / 7-off schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct prompt, comprehensive virtual psychiatric evaluations for emergency department patients
- Determine appropriate levels of care and coordinate treatment plans with ED providers
- Complete necessary paperwork and serve as the initial point of contact for inpatient unit requests
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland state PMHNP license in good standing
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Epic, and telehealth platforms
- Strong decision-making skills in high-acuity emergency and inpatient psychiatric settings
