Seeking a Maryland Licensed Threat Researcher, the remote position will focus on tracking advanced persistent threats (APTs) and leveraging global datasets to deliver actionable intelligence while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Leverage global datasets to track malicious cyber actors and build AI-assisted methods for threat detection and intelligence production
- Define and implement techniques for tracking sophisticated adversaries, delivering actionable threat intelligence to customers
- Enhance threat hunting operations through collaboration with research, engineering, and data science teams, while exploring new data sources
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in threat analysis and technical security research, particularly in tracking nation-state malicious infrastructure
- Fluency in advanced threat hunting methodologies and the ability to derive actionable intelligence from complex data sets
- Experience with large-scale data analysis platforms and tools such as PySpark
- Knowledge of telemetry collection and analysis, including OSINT and threat hunting tooling
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical findings to diverse audiences
