Job Summary

To ensure smooth and secure large-scale real estate transactions, the full-time Maryland Licensed Title Examiner will manage various commercial title projects, analyze public records, and collaborate with underwriters and clients in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage a variety of projects involving single to multi-property commercial transactions
  • Search, examine, and verify legal property descriptions and public records related to ownership and title issues
  • Summarize findings and prepare title commitments and reports while identifying and resolving discrepancies
Required qualifications
  • At least 3 years of commercial title insurance experience in title searching, examining, and writing commitments in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C
  • Understanding of relevant legal and real estate terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, and property data platforms
  • Ability to analyze complex information and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
