Job Summary

Examining titles for a variety of commercial and residential properties, the full-time Maryland Licensed Title Examiner will perform title examinations, analyze records, and prepare title commitment documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform title examination and analyze the chain of title for commercial and residential properties
• Abstract and analyze records, determining ownership and legal restrictions affecting property titles
• Prepare initial title commitment documentation and review reports for accuracy

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of directly related experience
• State license(s) if required
• Proficient with company operating systems and standard MS skill set
• Knowledge of legal terms is helpful
