Job Summary
To support the Trauma Quality Management Program, the part-time Maryland Licensed Trauma Quality Coordinator will collaborate with Trauma Program Leadership to facilitate trauma data collection, ensure compliance with quality management standards, and provide trauma education to staff and EMS personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate the Trauma Quality Management Program throughout the continuum of trauma care
- Participate in trauma data collection and entry into the MD Trauma Registry and Outcome database
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs specific to the trauma population
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience at an accredited Level 2 or higher Trauma Center
- Current MD state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Trauma Certified RN (TCRN) certification within one year of hire
- Completion of AAAM AIS course, ICD-10 coding education, ATCN, and TOPIC within one year of hire
