Job Summary
To enhance trauma care quality, the part-time Casual Trauma Quality Management Coordinator will collaborate with the Trauma Program leadership to manage trauma data collection, ensure compliance with quality standards, and develop injury prevention programs while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate the Trauma Quality Management Program throughout the continuum of trauma care
- Participate in trauma data collection and entry into the Maryland Trauma Registry and Outcome database
- Provide trauma education to EMS, nursing, and physicians, and develop injury prevention programs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience at an accredited Level 2 or higher Trauma Center
- Current MD state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Obtain Trauma Certified RN (TCRN) certification within one year of hire
- Completion of AAAM AIS course, ICD-10 coding education, ATCN, and TOPIC within one year of hire
