Job Summary
To improve healthcare access and quality, the part-time Maryland Licensed Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner will deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages, managing a wide range of conditions while collaborating with provider and support teams.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, developing and documenting treatment plans accurately and timely
- Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans while maintaining current knowledge of clinical best practices
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master's or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license and multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
