Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent commercial insureds in high complexity Workers Compensation cases in Maryland and the District of Columbia
• Prepare and conduct pre-trial discovery, final hearings, and post-trial activities
• Provide legal analysis and advice to claims professionals and prepare legal pleadings and documents

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and 7 or more years of experience in Workers Compensation Litigation
• Active member in good standing of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar Associations
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Experience working with Lexis or Westlaw
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation legal environment
