Maryland Medicaid Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Medicaid Compliance Consultant will manage compliance activities, develop functional procedures, monitor performance metrics, and conduct training while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop compliance reports and conduct compliance investigations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate the implementation of compliance efforts and assist in managing projects related to compliance initiatives
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess compliance gaps to ensure adherence to state Medicaid program requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field
- Minimum six years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, or a directly related field
- Experience in health plan compliance and operations is preferred
- Project management experience is a plus
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent compliance certification is advantageous
