Job Summary
To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Medicaid Compliance Consultant will collaborate with the Medicaid Department to advise on regulatory requirements, develop compliance procedures, monitor performance metrics, and conduct training and risk assessments in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compliance reports and conduct investigations by analyzing data and coordinating with stakeholders
- Implement compliance efforts by assessing current practices, identifying gaps, and creating or revising compliance standards
- Support management of projects related to compliance by coordinating resources and developing project plans
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field
- Minimum six years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, finance, regulatory, or public policy development
- Experience in health plan compliance and operations preferred
- Project management experience is a plus
- Master's degree or compliance certification is advantageous
