Job Summary
To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Medicaid Compliance Consultant will manage compliance activities, develop functional procedures, monitor performance metrics, and conduct training while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compliance reports and conduct compliance investigations to ensure adherence to Medicaid regulations
- Coordinate the implementation of compliance efforts by assessing current compliance states and identifying gaps
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations for strategic compliance initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field
- Minimum six years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, finance, or regulatory development
- Experience in health plan compliance and operations preferred
- Project management experience is a plus
- Master's degree or compliance certification is advantageous
