Maryland Medicaid Compliance Consultant

Job Summary

To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Medicaid Compliance Consultant will manage compliance activities, develop functional procedures, and conduct investigations while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compliance reports and conduct compliance investigations to ensure adherence to Medicaid regulations
• Coordinate the implementation of compliance efforts and assess current compliance states to identify gaps and corrective actions
• Support the management of projects related to compliance initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field
• Minimum six (6) years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, finance, regulatory development, or a related field
• Experience in health plan compliance and operations preferred
• Project management experience is a plus
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent compliance certification is advantageous
