Maryland Medicaid Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Medicaid Compliance Consultant will manage compliance activities, develop functional procedures, and conduct training while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compliance reports and conduct investigations to ensure adherence to Medicaid regulations
- Coordinate implementation of compliance efforts and monitor ongoing adherence to standards
- Support management of projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field
- Minimum six years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, or related fields
- Experience in health plan compliance and operations preferred
- Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent is a plus
