Maryland/Virginia Licensed Supervising Physician
Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time Maryland/Virginia Licensed Supervising Physician will conduct approximately 20 telehealth visits daily, oversee care plans for homebound patients, and supervise a team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth visits with established homebound Medicare patients, targeting 4,000-5,000 visits per year
- Review and sign care plans for patients, ensuring compliance with annual visit requirements
- Provide supervision and collaboration for clinical staff, including conducting chart audits and offering clinical guidance
Required qualifications
- MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Active, unrestricted medical license in MD/VA, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Current DEA registration in good standing
- Eligible to enroll and bill as a Medicare practitioner
- Commitment to work full-time exclusively for the organization for a minimum of one year
