Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Massachusetts Access Service Representative will ensure timely access to care for patients by responding to requests from physicians and engaging directly with patients for appointment scheduling.
Key responsibilities:
- Responds to physician and community provider needs to facilitate appropriate and timely patient care access
- Provides prompt and professional responses to appointment requests via telephone, fax, and online portals
- Maintains accurate documentation and utilizes clinical and administrative systems to manage patient and physician information
Required qualifications:
- GED or HiSET required
- Two years of prior experience in a physician office or customer service setting
- Proficiency in clinical and administrative computer programs, including CIS and Salesforce
- Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
- Comfortable working with medical professionals and engaging with patients
