Job Summary
To ensure timely access to care for patients, the full-time Massachusetts Access Services Representative will engage with physicians and patients, manage appointment scheduling, and utilize clinical and administrative systems while working remotely from the MA/CT area.
Key responsibilities:
- Responds to requests from physicians and community providers to facilitate patient access to care
- Engages directly with patients to support prompt appointment scheduling through various communication channels
- Documents and maintains accurate information regarding clinic appointments and patient interactions
Required qualifications:
- Two years of prior experience in a physician office or customer service setting
- Completion of a medical terminology course or willingness to complete one within the first year of hire
- GED or HiSET certification
- Proficiency in using phone, computer, and related technology
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, with Spanish proficiency preferred in some settings
