Massachusetts Collections Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely in Massachusetts, the full-time Massachusetts Collections Representative will manage high-volume calls from patients and third-party agents, resolve billing issues, and initiate actions to collect outstanding patient balances while maintaining customer service standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Answer high-volume calls and maintain professional communications during financial collection discussions
• Investigate and resolve billing problems while working towards monthly customer service and financial collection goals
• Initiate contact with patients to collect outstanding balances and update necessary demographic and insurance information

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education, training, or experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2+ years of experience with third-party billing practices
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to work full-time Monday - Friday with flexibility during normal business hours
