Massachusetts CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support critical financial reporting and tax functions, the fully remote Senior Accountant - Reporting & Tax will lead month-end close activities, oversee tax compliance, and partner with various departments to enhance accuracy and efficiency in a contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting activities and manage month-end close coordination
• Support external audit engagements and serve as a liaison with audit and tax advisors
• Oversee tax compliance activities, including annual filings and regulatory reporting requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation required
• 7+ years of accounting, financial reporting, audit, or tax experience
• Experience with nonprofit accounting, fund accounting, or multi-entity environments preferred
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and organizational abilities
